Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) is an option for international students who have recently graduated from an Australian educational institution. It lets you to live, to study and to work in Australia temporarily from 18 months to up to 4 years. It has two streams under this visa program.

Note: Students are only able to access this visa ONCE as a primary applicant.

Graduate Work Stream

It is for international students who have recently graduated with skills and qualifications that closely relate to an occupation identified as being in need in the medium to long term in the Australian labour market.

This visa allows the holder to stay temporarily for 18 months.

Post Study Work Stream

It is for international students who have recently graduated with an eligible qualification from an Australian higher educational institution, regardless of their field of study. Bachelor, Master or Doctoral level study is required.

This visa allows the holder to stay in Australia temporarily for 2 to 4 years, depends on the qualification.
